Get ready to unleash the power of the 1:5 scale Vigilante, the latest marvel in large scale radio control monster trucks. Designed for adrenaline-fueled off-road action, the Vigilante is big and features an earth shaking 8S power system. At the heart of this giant lies a massive 4985 1250KV brushless motor paired with a 160Amp electronic speed controller (ESC). This monstrous motor and powerful ESC each have their own electric fan for consistent cooling. This 8S powerhouse delivers impressive acceleration and ensures an adrenaline-filled driving experience every time.
Power is nothing without control, and this massive monster truck will shock you with its agile driving characteristics. The Vigilante’s 4-wheel independent suspension allows this gargantuan to barrel over obstacles, glide over bumps, and land jumps without skipping a beat. The four 24mm oil-filled coil-over shocks are completely adjustable and include external limiter straps so the driver can limit suspension travel without disassembling each shock and adding spacers. Simply adjust the limiter straps, to the ride height you want, and continue bashing. The Vigilante also includes a 70kg metal gear digital steering servo, with a bearing supported servo horn for added durability and control.
Off-road domination is made possible by the Vigilante's rugged construction and advanced drivetrain. The Vigilante features a heavy duty center differential, with splined outputs, for controlled maneuverability and tight cornering. All three of the Vigilante’s front, center, and rear differentials are tuneable with different viscosity fluids, to match your preferred driving style. The heavy-duty transmission utilizes a compound reduction gear and the driveline is fully protected with durable injection molded plastic guards.
The Vigilante features a high ground clearance, heavy-duty chassis that incorporates four metal upper support braces. The Vigilante is made from a plastic composite that was formulated to ensure superior handling and lasting durability. Sporting massive 8” x 3.7” open lug off-road tires, mounted on satin chrome wheels, this beast spits out an impressive rooster tail of dirt and debris. Not only does the Vigilante deliver with its performance, but it also looks the part with its classic 80’s styling. A period inspired pickup truck body immediately stirs up positive feelings of monster truck nostalgia. This well protected body features front and rear clamp style body mounts, roof skids with internal supports, classic roll bar, plastic bed rails, and injected molded plastic bumpers with an integrated LED ready front push bar.
The Vigilante comes complete with electronics and a 2.4GHz 4-channel radio system, putting you in full command of the action. To get started, simply add your favorite 6S-8S (Qty 2x3S - Qty 2X4S) LIPO batteries, LIPO battery charger, and four “AA” batteries for the transmitter.
